February 2018

JDZ are proud to be appointed as MEP Technical Managers for Battersea Power Station Development Company for the Battersea Power Station Phase 2 development. The Phase 2 development comprises the redevelopment of the iconic main power station, and is the centre piece of this prestigious multi phase development. Based in the client project offices providing MEP design and delivery technical oversight for the client and project managers Turner & Townsend and working closely with the key members of the design and Construction team Mace, WEA Architects, and CBDSP.


February 2017

JDZ are proud to be appointed as MEP design managers embedded within the Turner & Townsend Project Management team for the delivery of the full Cat A and Cat B refurbishment of Bracken House, Cannon Street London on behalf of the Landlord Obayashi Corporation and the Tenant Financial Times. Working for the project managers Turner & Townsend and closely with the key members of the design and Construction team JRA Architects, Arup and McLaren Construction.


March 2015

JDZ are proud to be appointed as MEP design managers to the joint venture partnership of Grosvenor Estates and Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels for the new Peninsula Hotel London. Working for the project managers Turner & Townsend and closely with the key members of the design team Hopkins Architects and Ramboll for the timely delivery of the integrated Stage 4a design of this prestigous new London Hotel


June 2014

JDZ are proud to attend the official opening of the new Terminal 2 "The Queens Terminal" by Her Majesty the Queen. Following a 3 year full time on site role leading the MEP design and construction delivery on behalf of Heathrow Airport Ltd for this fantastic new facility. We are proud to have been involved in the delivery of this new complex facility on time and on budget.


May 2012

JDZ gets ready to celebrate the successful completion of their 2 year commission as MEP technical advisers to the Project Managers on the Shard. Now the tallest building in the UK and Europe JDZ are rightly proud of their involvement in the project management of this prestigious project working as technical advisors to the client's advisors and project managers Turner & Townsend, working with MACE and Arup to deliver a world class MEP solution to a world class development on budget and on programme.


April 2012

JDZ are appointed to carry out an option appraisal study for a planned life cycle replacement of a large UPS main distribution system to an essential government department main data centre. This follows our successful involvement in the building over the past 5-10 years and in particular as part of a life cycle replacement plan we delivered for the building amongst others on the estate for all MEP plant. The life cycle plans we developed then have been invaluable as working tools for business case justification for planned capital replacement plans.


March 2012

JDZ are proud to announce their appointment by BAA as an embedded member of their client team providing "MEP Delivery Leader" services on the NEC contract for the new T2A terminal currently under construction at London Heathrow Airport. This world class development is due for completion in November 2013, and JDZ are committed to providing a full time resource based at the construction site offices for the duration of the contract. This follows a 3 month combined service level trial and delivery status report commenced by JDZ in December 2011. Once again JDZ demonstrate their capability to work with the biggest clients on the biggest projects.


February 2012

JDZ complete phase 2 of the quinquennial reports for the building fabric at Kew Gardens.


December 2011

JDZ are proud to announce their selection as supplier of choice to BAA as they look to provide an embedded MEP delivery resource for their new T2A development at London Heathrow Airport. JDZ will commence a 3 month trial for the service delivery and produce a delivery status report as a key output of the trial period.


November 2011

JDZ complete Phase 1 of an MEP infrastructure survey of Kew Gardens estate.


October 2011

JDZ complete a series of energy performance certificates and air conditioning inspection surveys for numerous private healthcare buildings throughout the UK. This follows the successful completion of condition surveys completed for this client in April 2011.


September 2011

JDZ complete the detailed design within a major central London building fit-out for a major Japanese investment bank on behalf of a design and build contractor. The fit-out included trading floors, meeting rooms and large Basement MCR and on floor SCR's. All of the works were complete in a Live banking environment.


August 2011

As part of our on-going commitment to sustainability JDZ complete a number of building surveys for voltage optimisation schemes for a number of government buildings around the UK.


June 2011

JDZ complete detailed survey of flood damaged building in Kent on behalf of loss adjusters. The main electrical services were severely damaged following a major leak from the LTHW system at the top of a multi storey building. The insurers representatives required a detailed technical report on the impact of the flood on the building and its services, and recommendations and budget costs for the next step to bringing the building back to operation.


April 2011

JDZ complete MEP and Building fabric condition surveys for numerous private healthcare buildings throughout the UK. The buildings include hospital wards, consulting and treatment rooms and operating theatres.

One year on since our appointment as technical MEP advisors to Turner & Townsend on the Shard and we continue to influence the successful delivery of the technical challenges of this most prestigious and exciting project. Just over a year to go the practical completion for the shell and core and the whole team are remain as committed as ever to the successful delivery of this iconic building.
